Your Donations

Your tax-deductible donation makes all the difference.

Not one penny goes to administration- we are entirely staffed by volunteers. Your dollars are always used to provide customized sewn items or sewing education to bring smiles to our Manatee and Sarasota county residents and charities.

Please contact us if you have a non-monetary donation such as fabric or sewing notions or would like to mail a check.

Please join us during any charity sewing activity to donate your time. If you don't sew, we can use your help in sorting, cutting, pressing and packaging.

Explore our our Community Service page to see what we are sewing.

Have a machine to donate?

Our members seldom have a need for a used, dated machine but sometimes we know of a need locally. We do not have a place to store used machines. If you do have an older machine that is in working order we will list it free of charge on our website and in an email to our members.
If you are in need of a donated older machine please let us know and we will add your name to our list.
Machines can also be mailed to The Sewing Machine Project where they are sent to home sewists in other countries. You will have to pay postage to get it there. They encourage a $40 donation with your machine to offset their delivery cost but you will know your machine is being used daily to help a women feed her family.
