Lingerie and Active Wear is led by Terry Pettie. Our programs are geared to people sewing personal wear and enhancing them with a personal touch. You will learn how to make active wear, sleepwear, lingerie (panties, slips, bras, camisoles, etc), shapewear and swimwear. We have challenges, tutorials and general discussions for all who attend.
Whether you use a sewing machine, serger or cover stitch machine, we have you covered! Join us to learn a variety of techniques you can use with whatever machines you own. Get your questions answered about working with active wear fabrics, lingerie fabrics, elastics, laces, knits, powernet, "bits & bobs", satins, nylons, silks and other slinky, stretchy or fussy types of fabrics and trims.
Meetings are on the 4th Thursday of every other month over Zoom
(Jan/Mar/May/Jul/Sep/Nov). For more information or to be added to the SIG Member email list please contact Terry.
Jan 28: We will explore choosing and /or making a Camisole OR doing the same for a pair of yoga/bike pants. Come and share what you are doing and your techniques, materials and tips for these projects.
